Itinerary For This Years Trip…
Thursday, April 2nd – Arrive in San Jose. Travel to Grecia and have lunch, relax, play soccer. We will be staying at the church Sol de Justicia.
Friday, April 3rd – Canopy/Zipline tour, beach day.
Saturday, April 4th – Work with the kids in town, piñatas, ice cream, and pass out tracks.
Sunday, April 5th – Attend church, perform/sing during the service, visit San Jose.
Monday, April 6th through Wednesday, April 8th – Travel to the church in Canas where we will be painting and replacing the ceiling. We will stay with local families and visit the hot springs.
Thursday, April 9th – Visit the Africa Mia Zoo.
Friday, April 10th – Return home.
The students will be supplying bags of candy and purchasing the ice cream for the local kids. Please keep all the students and staff in your prayers as they travel.
Update - April 2nd. All have safely arrived in Costa Rica, the weather is warm and sunny with palm trees in sight. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. They were about to enjoy their first home-cooked Costa Rican meal! Tomorrow they will meet some of the local kids and begin their itinerary.
