All 7th and 8th grade students need to have a loose-leaf binder or accordion folder to hold the following:
8 pockets or pocket folders (one for each subject)
Loose-leaf paper (NO SPIRALS) for homework
Pencil bag to hold small items
We will provide an assignment notebook.

Portable data stick (“jump drive”) for storing computer work

2 boxes of facial tissues
3-section spiral notebook for language, literature, spelling
Black or blue ball-point pens for spelling and penmanship (replenish these as needed throughout the year)
Pencils (buy replacement lead for mechanical pencils)
Red or green ink pen for checking papers
Highlighter marker
Pen-style correction fluid (recommended)
Standard-size pink or green pencil eraser
Science and History
2 spiral notebooks (one for each subject)
Box of 12 or more colored pencils
Math (Secondary Staff)
Pencils (required for all math work)
Graph paper (keep some at home for homework)

Compass (for students in Glencoe 2 and 3 levels)
Students in seventh grade math (Glencoe 2) do not need a calculator
Students in Glencoe 3 need a basic 4-function calculator
Advanced students taking Pre-algebra and Algebra I need a “scientific” calculator (has exponent and square-root functions)
(Note: We have Wednesday chapel even on short weeks; shorts and sweatshirts are not permitted on chapel days)
Order CCA-logo short-sleeved polo and long-sleeved polo or button-down shirts from school office.
Solid-color long dress pants, no logos – Grey, navy, khaki, black, or dark brown. No low-rise, tight-fitting, cargo-style, or jean-style. Pockets should be hidden inside, not sewn on outside.
Belts for boys (same color choices as pants)
Solid-color brown or black leather dress shoes (no two-tone, athletic, or cross-training shoes); in addition to these choices, girls may wear brown or black leather sandals.
T-shirts worn underneath CCA shirts can be solid white, black, or grey (they show at the neckline). No printing, pictures, or logos.
Sweaters and socks must be solid color, no logos: dark green, navy, black, grey, or white. No sweatshirt fabric, hooded sweaters, or sweater coats.
Physical Education
Drawstring or duffel bag to hold clothes and shoes
CCA uniform shirt and shorts (order from the school office)
White cotton socks
Athletic shoes: extra pair (not worn to classes), should have white or non-marking soles
Art, Latin, and Music: Supply lists from these teachers will be given out at the Secondary Orientation, Aug. 20, or on the first day of school, Aug. 25.
