Instructional Program

Grades kindergarten through sixth are grouped as self-contained classrooms with each student assigned to one teacher for all core academic subjects. In the seventh through eighth grades, the students have eight scheduled classes. Each class is 40 minutes long and meets every day. The high school is similarly structured. All students of C.C.A. participate in academic classes including reading, language arts, mathematics, science, Bible and history. All students in first through eighth grade also participate in art, music, and physical education. Spanish language instruction is taught in first through fourth grade and at the high school level. Latin language instruction is taught in fifth through eighth grade.
